AUDIENCE FEEDBACK AND EDITS TO MAGAZINE PAGES

So after I finished my magazine I asked my audience on some feedback. My contents page was said to 'lack content' - so i added more features. I also changed one the page numbers of my features to a higher one, as I researched into how many pages a typical magazine would have and it said between 80-100. My double page spread went through a lot of editing. My audience were saying that the piano I used didn't 'look professional'. I also made Nasrine bigger in order to fill up some space that was now empty because I removed the piano. I made the colours a bit brighter and moved my pull quote higher and added a red background to the text in order for it to stand out. I also corrected a grammatical mistake. I also made the sub-section smaller in order to make my interview font bigger as my audience said it was ' a bit too small.' I also had forgotten to add the page numbers and magazine name at the bottom and so I included that in my final version. Whilst editing my final version of my double page spread I accidentally added a banner running down the page however it looked good and I asked my target audience whether they preferred the banner. There was a unanimous agreement that the magazine should include the banner.

FINAL AUDIENCE FEEDBACK (recommended to be listened to through headphones).

I decided to get some footage of some live reactions because when my audience saw my magazine there were some really nice reactions and I wished that I could of recorded it. So I decided to make a questionnaire and ask them formally about the magazine. Firstly I will mention some quotes from my target audience that I took note of during a written interview.

"I love the colours you used and how you used it throughout the whole magazine. It shows power and I feel as if it also shows dedication- which links well with the cover story."- Fudge

"Your genre is clear, I can tell it's soul because of all the artists and you even mentioned it in the front cover"- Nas

"Your article is so inspiring, I like the way the double page spread has been laid out. It's simple but effective. Sometimes I just skip articles because I see a lot of writing and I get put off especially when it's an artist I don't know or not a fan of. You had a new emerging artist so I felt intrigued to read it but not overwhelmed. However when I started reading it, I still found that it had a lot of information and it was very detailed but it didn't feel like I was reading a boring long book- which made me happy. "- Nadia

"I like how you made your article an interview, it makes it more personal."- Kuj

"The model is so pretty, I love her fierce poses!"- Amal

"You're really good at Photoshop!"- Siham
