Week 2 mainly consisted of me researching into the music magazine industry and figuring out my chosen magazine name. It was really interesting finding out about the sales figures and it made me think of unique ways in which I could combat the problems of the declining sales and bring something fresh and original to the table.
I got an opportunity to find out more about my case study- Vibe Magazine. I liked looking at the different magazines and analysing them as it gave me ideas for my own magazine.
I also got my results back from my friends in university. The two different results are split into brackets.
I spent time highlighting the results in different colours to see which soul artists were most popular within my target audience. I then chose the highest voted ones and made a new questionnaire. This new questionnaire would really be useful because it could really help me see what sort of soul my target audience are into and really get my sub genre accurate and which artists I could include in my sell lines to attract my target audience.
